Newhouse School graduate student Alex Seltzer recently completed a video project in which she led a team of reporters for the first time. She describes her experience as difficult at times, but fun in the end. What changed? Good communication between Alex and the reporters.

Alex says daily conversations via e-mail, phone and in person made a difference. By the end of the project, she and the reporters had bonded, and the project benefited. In this podcast, hear from Alex as she describes her experience thinking like an editor.
